however the plantation agriculture is mainly done not for self consumption but for generating income.the products if plantation agriculture are used as raw materials in industries. rubber is one such example of plantation

• The yield obtained through this mode of cultivation is for self-consumption.

Plantation:

• The process in which the farmer plants the farm is called as plantation.

• The yield obtained through this mode of farming is for business or selling.
