Answer:

Short term Memory

Short-term memory is the capacity for holding, but not manipulating, a small amount of information in mind in an active, readily available state for a short period of time. For example, short-term memory can be used to remember a phone number that has just been recited

Long term Memory

The things that you were able to remember was stored in the long term memory so that is the place where you can retrieve the info stored for long period of time. Examples of long term memory are Declarative memory and the Episode memory.

IQ, short for intelligence quotient, is a measure of a person's reasoning ability. In short, it is supposed to gauge how well someone can use information and logic to answer questions or make predictions. IQ tests begin to assess this by measuring short- and long-term memory.
