Hiii

The difference between SI and CI is given by a formula

Difference,
 = principal \times   { \frac{r}{100} }^{2}
On putting values,
difference(d) = 2400 \times  { \frac{5}{100} }^{2}

so,
d = 2400 \times  \frac{25}{10000}

d = 24 \times  \frac{25}{100}
d = 24 \times  \frac{1}{4}

d=6

so the difference b/w CI and SI is 6.

hope this help u buddy
