✡ METAPHOR is a literary devise used for directly comparing without the use of words , 'like' and 'as'
↪ For example ----
◾ All the world's a stage .
◾ All the world is like a stage .
In first sentence metaphor is the literary device whereas in second Similie.

A simili is a figure of speech....where there is a comparision between 2 things...like....as tall as a giraffe...as clever as a fox...
A metaphor is a figure of speech which a word or phrase is applied to an object or action to which it is not applicable...for example..its synonyms..are..image..alegory....
