SIMPLE PERMANENT TISSUE-
1) It is made up of one type of cell.
2) All the cells are performing similar function.
3) It takes part in storage of food, exchange of gases, photosynthesis.
4) For example- Parenchyma, Schlerenchyma, Collenchyma.

Complex permanent tissue
1) It is made up of more than one type of cell.
2) Different cells will be performing a fraction of function of complex tissue.
3) It takes part in conduction of water, Minerals and food.
4) For example- Xylem and Phloem

• These tissues are made up of one type of cells .

• They perform a variety of functions like protection storage mechanical support etc .

• Examples : Parenchyma , collenchyma and sclerenchyma .

Complex Permanent Tissue :

• Made up of more than one type of cells .

• They help in conduction of water minerals and put two different parts of plant body .

• Examples : xylem and phloem .
