Ciliated columnar epithelium have small protoplasmic extensions on the head of the cell, called cillia, to increase the surface area and promote movement of body secretory fluids. Example: Inner lining of Fallopian tubules and trachea

Whereas

Simple columnar epithelium devoid of cillia. The nucleus is basely placed and are secretory in nature. Example: Stomach and small intestine.
