difference between simple permanent and complex permanent tissues

1)apke tissue are made up of only same type or kind of cells whereas complex tissue are made up of different type of cells

2)simple tissue is homogenous whereas complex tissue is heterogeneous.
3) simple tissue occurs in all parts of plant
whereas complex tissue is only occur in vascular region.
4)the function of simple tissue is storage of
food whereas complex tissue is protection.

Simple Permanent Tissue :

• These tissues are made up of one type of cells .

• They perform a variety of functions like protection storage mechanical support etc .

• Examples : Parenchyma , collenchyma and sclerenchyma .

Complex Permanent Tissue :

• Made up of more than one type of cells .

• They help in conduction of water minerals and put two different parts of plant body .

• Examples : xylem and phloem .
