Liquids and gases are together known as fluids. The arrangement of molecules in solids is more closer than the arrangement of molecules in fluids. Generally, solids are more denser than fluids. Solids have a fixed shape whereas fluids do not have a fixed shape. As a result, solids do not take shape of the container whereas fluids take the shape of the container.
