SOLID:-

solid have fixed volume and shape . there is very less intermolecular space in solids. solids are rigid. solids are ductile. solid have a good tensile strength.

EXAMPLE:- PLASTIC , RUBBER , WOOD , METAL etc .

LIQUID:-

liquid do have fixed volume but no fixed shape, it takes the shape of the container in which it is is kept . liquid has little bit more intermolecular space between their particle as compared to solids.

EXAMPLE:- WATER , MILK , JUICE , COLD DRINK etc .
