Explanation:

Solid

  1. Solid have fixed shape and size
  2. Solid doesn't undergo distortion unless if large amount of force or stress is applied on it
  3. The intermolecular force of interaction in solid is very strong so their MP and BP is very high

Liquid

  1. Liquid doesn't have fixed shape and size. They attain size of container in which they are placed
  2. Liquid undergo distortion if small amount of force act on it
  3. The intermolecular force of attraction in liquid not so much strong so they have low M.P and B.P as compared to solid

Gases

  1. Gases also don't have fixed shape and size
  2. Even a very less amount of force can cause distortion in gases
  3. The intermolecular force of attraction in gases are very weak so they have more less B.P and M.P as compared to liquid
