Hey mate here's your answer

Solid has a definite shape and a definite size where as,
liquid has a definite volume but not a definite shape.

The molecules in a solid are closely packed where as the molecules in a liquid are loosely packed.

The intermolecular forces are very strong in a solid where as the intermolecular forces are less strong in a liquid.

Hope it helps☺

Difference between Solid state and liquid state.

Solids state :
------------------
⏩Solids have definite shape and volume.

⏩Solids are rigid and non-compressible.

⏩Solids have high density. (except ice)

⏩Solids do not diffuse easily.

⏩Solids do not tend to flow.

⏩Intermolecular spaces are small and intermolecular forces of attraction are maximum.

Liquid state :
-------------------
⏩Liquids have definite volume but indefinite shape.

⏩Liquids are not rigid as well as non-compressible.

⏩Liquids have less density then solids.

⏩Liquids diffuse very slowly.

⏩Liquids tend to flow.

⏩Intermolecular space is more than solids, while intermolecular force of attraction is less than solids.
