difference between spam and cookie
Answers
Answer:
cookies are used for spamming" "cookies are only used for advertising"
Answer:
As previous answer suggest cookies are source of Spam.
It is partially true.
Explanation:
Cookies is a mechanism of websites to tag their users visit. For example, we visited a X th board's syllabus page on site for the first time, then the site will place a text a cookie in our phone or computer to tag us in a form of txt file. Now, the second time we visit that site, it will take us to the same page.
It is a good feature in most of the cases to know user preference. However, Spam is unwanted emails sent with the objective to sell something. The source of spam is email address, when we give our email address to any website, if it is not secured or sells our data to others, then it would start a cycle of spam mails on our email account.
