Velocity :

hello!!The difference between speed and velocity are as follows:

  • velocity is a vector quantity while speed is a scalar quantity.
  • The rate of change of distance with time is called speed while the rate of change of displacement with time is known as velocity.
  • speed can never be negative or zero while velocity may be positive, negative or zero.
