speed is a scaler quantity whereas velocity is a vector quantity. In speed direction is not mentioned but in velocity direction is specified.
lastly velocity is simply speed which has direction mentioned.

speed is that which tells us that how fast the object is moving while velocity refers to the rate at which object changes position in a certain direction....
