Speed is scalar quantity i.e. it only have magnitude
Velocity is vector quantity i.e. it have both magnitude and direction.
Speed is distqnce travelled by an object in unit time.
Velocity is displacement per unit time.
Speed cannot be zero because distance of moving object cannot be zero .
Velocity can be zero
Speed is always positive .
Velocity is either ppsitive or negative.
Speed = s/t ( distance / time)
Velocity = displacement/time
