Difference between SRS document and design document:

SRS document:

• SRS stands with the software requirement specification  
• It is created by a business analyst.
• It is a contract between the customer and development team
• It requires Functional, non-functional, user, interface and design.
• It can be English text, diagram, table, formula rules, etc.  

SRS Design:

• The main purpose of this design is the enhancement will be incorporated into the existing project.
• It should contain samples of the finished project.
• It includes the E-R diagram, Data Dictionary, and Data flow diagram.
