stable population : stable  population have age specific fertility and mortality rates that remain constant over time.

stationary population : it is a special ex. of a stable population with a zero growth rate ,neither growing nor shrinking in size and is equivalent to a life table population

The stationary population is the example of a stable population model, in which the growth rate is zero,  it is neither expanding nor contracting in capacity and is equal to a life table population.fertility and mortality rates that remain constant over time.

Stable populations are general models widely accepted by demographers to interpret and surmise the pattern of structure, growth, and development of human communities. In stable populations model, we have had age-specific productivity and death rates which remain consistent over time.
