stamen is the male part of the flower.It consists anther and filament which helps in formation of male gametes.
pistil is the female part of the flower.It consists style , ovary, stigma, which helps in formation of female gamete, provide the site of fertilisation , and stigma helps to collect pollen grain and style helps in the formation of pollen tube .
