Difference between standard proctor test and modified proctor test

Proctor test are used for determining the optimum  moisture where a soil type will give  more density and can achieve maximum dry density.
Modified proctor test are more advanced than the standard test but the purpose are same.
In case of modified proctor test the density value achieved is high than standard
In order to achieve  maximum density the standard test require more moisture while the modified method need less.
The standard test give less precise value than the modified one.
