in bus topology computers are connected with each other by a wire in a approximately strait manner..and if one computer stops working the whole network will stop. while in star topology every computer is connected with the host computer & much wire is require..and if any client computer tops working it will not effect the whole network

Hey !!

BUS TOPOLOGY

  • There is a single length of transmission medium, on which various nodes are attached and the server can be any-where in the trans-mission cable.
  • Becomes slow as the number of nodes increases.
  • Faults cannot be detected.

STAR TOPOLOGY

  • All nodes are directly connected with the central node or server.
  • It is fast in transmission.
  • Easy to detect faults.

GOOD LUCK !!
