1. Stock is a variable which can be measure at a point of time.

2. It is not time dimension. It is static

3.Higher the stock higher the flow.

(FLOW)

1. variable which can be measured during a period of time.

2. It is a time dimension concept.

3. Flow influence stock.

Here is your answer,

STOCK-

Any variables which is measured at a particular point of time is called a stock variable. Money supply, Consumer Price Index ( CPI ), unemployment level, foreign exchange reserves, etc.

A balance sheet, A fixed deposit with a bank, A person's wealth all these are stock variables.

FLOW-

Any variable which is measured over a period of time is called a flow variable. The time period must be explicitly specified when referring to flow variables. For example, GDP, aggregate consumption, inflation, investments, exports, imports for the year/month/etc.

A profit n loss a/c, A interest earned on the deposit, expenditure, no. of people losing their jobs all these are flow variables.
