Stretch reflex is basically a muscle contraction which occurrs in response to stretching in the muscles. It basically consists of a monosynaptic reflex providing automatic regulation of skeletal muscle length.
Inverse stretch reflex also called golgi tendon reflexes is a inverse myotic reflex where muscle tension is increasing in the contraction.
