straited muscle consists of long cylindrical muscle fiber with blunt ends. EG: Located in the body wall, tongue, upper part of pharynx
smooth muscles consists of short, spindle shaped muscle fiber which are swollen in the middle and involuntary
EG: Found in the reproductive tracts, oviducts, ureterus
