Striated muscles :

  • Striated muscles are long unbranched , branched and multinucleate .
  • Striated muscles are attached to bones and help in body movements .

Unstriated muscles :

  • They are spindle shaped and uninucleate .
  • They are found in the iris of the eye , in ureters and in the bronchi of the lungs .

Cardiac muscles :

  • The cardiac muscles show rhythmic contraction and relaxation throughout life .
  • They are involuntary muscles .
  • Cardiac muscles are cylindrical , branched and uninucleate .
