Electrolyte:- The liquid or gel that contains ions that conducts electricity is nothing but an electrolyte

Strong Electrolyte:- When the ions of a substance completely dissociates in the solution ,Then it is called as strong electrolyte

ex.

  1. sea water
  2. nitric acid and other strong acids (HCL, H2SO4)

Weak Electrolyte:- When the ions of a substance sparingly dissociate in the solution, then it is called as weak electrolyte

ex.

  1. Tap water
  2. ammonia, acetic acid and other weak acids.
