Diamond is a is a hard substance and do not conduct electricity.

Whereas,
Graphite is a soft substance, and Conducts electricity.

There is a difference in their physical properties because of the different arrange the of carbon atoms in them.

But there chemical properties are same.
Like both of them when burn in air gives out carbon dioxide and oxygen.

Diamond is used in jewelery, marble cutter, etc.

Whereas,
Graphite is used in making electrodes in dry cells, cores of pencils, etc.

Hope this may help uh dear!!!
