6. Structured decisions have a well defined methodology for finding a solution and have the data to reach a decisions. They are usually straight forward and made on a regular basis, an example of a structured decision in my company is whether or not to withdraw funds from an international account depending on the current exchange rate while Unstructured decision rely on knowledge and/or expertise and often require data and models to solve, an example of an unstructured decision in my company is what types of new content should be created and what market should be targeted.
