Sweat is secreted by sweat glands. Sebum is secreted by sebaceous glands or oil glands. Sweat is composed of water and salts. Sebum is composed of oil, fatty acids, waxes and cholesterol.

Both are the secretions of the skin but sebum contains oils and waxy substance while sweat is a mixture of salts and water.....

Rather the glands for sebum are sebaceous glands and that for sweat is sweat glands.... both are close enough to eachother in their position thus comes out together on the surface of skin....
