The difference between symbiotic and holozoic nutrition is that in symbiotic nutrition, two organisms are involved where both of them are getting benefitted and in holozoic nutrition, one party ingests or digests the food and converts it to a simple form of food.

Explanation:

  • Holozoic nutrition is a type of nutrition where living organisms consume the food and digests it and derives nutrition from it.
  • It does not involve two parties or any beneficial relationship. A sheep grazing on grass is an example of this.
  • In comparison in a symbiotic nutrition typically, two parties are in a complementary relation where both derive nutrition.
