Circumstantiality (also circumstantial thinking, or circumstantial speech) – An inability to answer a question without giving excessive, unnecessary detail.
This differs from tangential thinking, in that the person does eventually return to the original point.

Answer:

Tangentiality  and circumstantiality are different from each other in one aspect and that is:

Explanation:

1: Tangentiality  : In this category person drags an irrelevant topic to the important one. In severe cases, it might turn up into schizophrenia. In this condition, a person modifies the topic. They are unable to focus on other person's conversations and keep making other situations in their minds. It can lead to anxiety. For example: if we are asking them '' what are you doing''? they will say '' I was born in April''.

2: Circumstantiality: This one is different from tangentiality in one case. In this category, a person diverts his mind from the main topic, but this happens for some time. It is short term illness and a person will somehow come to the point. They will just make a long conversation and will take some time to complete it.
