Difference between technical writing and general writing
Answers
Answer:
Technical writing is specifically for professionals. It is written in a specific format containing data or statistics. The writing consists of technical terms or words which others may not understand.
General writing is a casual way of writing using common words. General writing is more like a conversation. The weakness of general writing is that people may be distracted from the actual facts because it may contain personal emotions and feelings of the writer.
Explanation:
Remember one important thing. An author or a writer must not copy paste by googling answers from the internet websites. It is alright to get more information and learn from the internet. But direct copy-paste of articles from websites is not advisable. Your teachers too are educated and they will easily notice that you have written the answer from a website. An example, I was one of the judges in an essay writing competition on World Environmental Day. The essays were all taken from the internet and rejected. Only one person submitted the essay in her own words and ideas. She was the winner. There was no second or third position since all were rejected.
