In an In-Vitro-Fertilisation (IVF) or test tube baby an egg fertilised by a sperm (creating a zygote) is transferred into the uterus. It creates progeny similar to normal conception. The child carries the DNA of both his/her parents. In case of cloning, a somatic cell is taken from a donor and used to create an embryo.
