The difference between chatting and video conference is as follows:

  • Chatting is considered to be unprofessional as chat can be done with anyone like friends, relatives, neighbours or collegues. But video conferencing is carried out by a professional to share the work details or to provide training and presentation.
  • Chatting is done through sharing of text or video or audio files. In video conference, it lets direct interaction between two or more parties which are involved in the meeting.
