Crust-
1. It is the uppermost layer of the earth.
2. The thickness of crust varies from 6 to 48 km.
3. The crust is consisted of ( rocks have predominance of minerals like) silicon, aluminum and magnesium.
Core-
1. It is the innermost layer of the earth.
2. The core is approximately 7,000 km in diameter.
3. The major constituents of this layer are the metallic minerals like nickel(Ni) and Iron(Fe).
