Difference between the drainage pattern of the Indus system and that of the Balochistan plateau:
- Indus drainage system starts from Baltistan of Tibet and ends at Arabian sea. Indus river is the longest river in Asia.
- Flow rate of Indus river is about 240 cubic kilometers. Konkan is is situated in India with beautiful beaches and clear blue waters.
- Indus drainage system flows through the path: Tibet, gorges of Karakoram and Himalayan ranges, Gilgit district, Hindu kush and Himalayas, mountain of kalabagh, Panjab and Sindh and finally to Arabian sea.
- Balochistan is the name of province which is largest among all situated in Pakistan with least population.
- Balochistan plateau has central part Quatta and several rivers like Zhob, Khandar, Kalachi, Loralai, Chakar, Bolan, Mula.
