given,

perimeter=72m

let breadth be x

length =6+x

given, perimeter=72

=>2(l+b)=72

=>2(x+6+x)=72

=>2(2x+6)=72

=>2x+6=36

=>2x=30

=>x=30/2=15

breadth=15m

length=15+6=21m

area=length×bredth=15×21=315m²

HOPE U CAN UNDERSTAND

let l be length and breadth be b

so ATQ,

l-b=6

l=6+b---(1)

perimeter=72

2 (l+b)=72----(2)

(1) in (2)

2 (6+b+b)=72

2 (6+2b)=72

12+4b=72

b=72-12/4

b=15m---(3)

(3) in (1)

l=15+6

l=21m

area =l ×b

area= 15×21

area=315m^2

hope it helps!!! Cheers!!!
