=> x +y =180°
X =180°-Y------(1)
Given,
X-Y = 24--(2)
Substitute eq (1) in eq (2)
180-Y-Y= 24
180-2Y = 24
-2Y = - 156
Y = 156/2
Y = 78
Therefore the opposite angles are 78 and 180-78 = 102.
