Pearls are Asian Arowana, and have a slight silver look on the body when young but when it ages, will develop a milky white look over the body hence why they call it a Pearl. Asian Arowana typically reach the 28-36 inch size ranges in tanks and are more suitable to keep in a tank. Asian Arowana can also easily be identified from South Americans by looking at the anal dorsal tail fin region. Asian and Jardini have three seperated fins, and the South Americans all have one fin for the three areas.
