Difference between the policies of the Bolsheviks and the Mensheviks

Bolshevik leaders were against the war. When Lenin and other leaders returned to Russia in April 1917 they put forth their demands, which are as follows:

1. The war should be brought an end and Russia should withdraw from it.

2. The lands should be transferred to peasants for cultivation.

3. Banks should be nationalized.
