pollination means the transfer of pollens from one flower to another whereas fertilisation means the fusion of male and female gametes in the ovary which later results in the formation of pollen tube.

Pollination is the process in which pollen are transfer from anther to the stigma whereas fertilization occur once the pollen reaches the stigma,i t produces pollen tube,which grow down through style to ovary.
