difference between the state legislative assembly and the parliament

State Legislative assembly is for state level and chosen by local constituency which refer to elect MLA(member of legislative assembly)
Parliament is house of ministers who are picked up from Vidhan sabha to Lok sabha to represent at country level by winning party are called MP(minister of parliament).

 First, State legislature may or may not have 2 houses as the Parliament  

Second, There are three lists 1.state list 2.concurrent list 3.union list  

parliament can legislate on all the 3 lists whereas the legislatures can legislate on only the first 2 lists  

Third, if a parliament and state law or bill clash the bill or the law passed by the parliament will prevail  

these are the main differences
