Two differences between the two Houses of Parliament - the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha are:

Lok Sabha - It has more powers as compared to the Rajya Sabha. Rajya Sabha - It has less power as compared to the Lok Sabha.

Lok Sabha - Money bills are introduced only in the Lower House, whereas ordinary bills can be introduced in either house. Rajya Sabha- It does not have the power to reject or amend a Money bill

• The Lok Sabha is more powerful than the Rajya Sabha.

RAJYA SABHA

• Members of Rajya Sabha are elected by the elected members of State Legislative Assemblies.
• The Rajya Sabha is a permanent body. It is not subject to dissolution, but one-third of its member retire every two years
• It has not more than 250 members
• The Rajya Sabha does not exercise much power over Money Bills.
• The Rajya Sabha is less powerful than the Lok Sabha
