Two differences between the two Houses of Parliament - the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha are:
Lok Sabha - It has more powers as compared to the Rajya Sabha. Rajya Sabha - It has less power as compared to the Lok Sabha.
Lok Sabha - Money bills are introduced only in the Lower House, whereas ordinary bills can be introduced in either house. Rajya Sabha- It does not have the power to reject or amend a Money bill

- The normal life of every Lok Sabha is 5 years. After five years the term of all elected representatives comes to an end. The Lok Sabha stands dissolved.
- The maximum strength of the House is 552.
- The Lok Sabha is more powerful than the Rajya Sabha.
RAJYA SABHA
- Members of Rajya Sabha are elected by the elected members of State Legislative Assemblies.
- The Rajya Sabha is a permanent body. It is not subject to dissolution, but one-third of its member retire every two years
- It has not more than 250 members
- The Rajya Sabha does not exercise much power over Money Bills.
- The Rajya Sabha is less powerful than the Lok Sabha
