Thermal decomposition reaction :- This is the reaction in which a compound splits up into two or more simple substances on heating .
EX:- when potassium permanganent on exposure to heat decomposes to give potassium manganent + manganese dioxide along with oxygen.
Photochemical decomposition reaction :- Tjis is a reaction in which a compound is decomposed by light .
EX:- when hydrogen feroxide on exposure to light it decomposes to hydrogen and oxygen gas.
