Threshing means cutting and harvesting of the cultivation
by using thresher (a machine)
Winnowing means separation of husk from grain product by dropping it from height in which wind is also used to blow the husk away.

Winnowing-:
1) The process of separating dust particles with the help of wind is called winnowing.
2) Mixture of grain and husk are allwed to fall from a height.
3) Heavier grains fall on aground whereas lighter grains are carried away by the wind.
Threshing-:
1) The process of removing chaff from the grains is called threshing.
2) It is done by using a stick.
