Transported Soil:

1. Transported Soil is very fertile as it rich in mineral nutrients like potash and lime.

2.Transported Soil is dervied from the sediments deposited by rivers.

3.It is found in river valleys.

In Situ Soil:

1. It is less fertile as it is deficient in phosphorus nitrogen lime and humus.

2. In situ soils are formed due to weathering of ancient crystalline and metamorphic rocks.

3. It is found in Deccan Trap.
