chronicles are the accounts of the travellers not about their personal experience but about the economic and social condition of a place

Chronicles and travelogues are different.
Chronicle is basically a historical fact or account or events are organised in a chronological order.
Travelogues are a chronological way of representing things. An equalised weight age is offered for events which are of historical issues. In a travelogue there are some realities which cannot be chronicle related information. Chronicles are general from first hand knowledge.
