Troposphere is the lowest and thickest layer while the exosphere is the upper most layer named as atmosphere.

  • Convective air movements.
  • It is a large “vertical temperature” change.
  • All weather changes occurs here like formation of “clouds, frost, fog, dew, lightning, thunder, precipitation,” etc.
  • 90 per cent of air in atmosphere

Exosphere:

  • Uppermost layer of planet’s atmosphere.
  • Thinnest atmosphere.

  • Very light gases like helium, hydrogen are all.
  • Temperature and height may reach 4,500 degree Celsius.
  • Merges into outer space.
