difference between truncate and delete

Truncate means shortening something by cutting a part of it but delete means removing or erasing something.ex-from a paragraph if we shorten it it is known as truncate and if we erase the whole para or remove it then it is known as delete. HOPE IT HELPS U PLZ MARK IT AD BEST IF IT WAS HELPFUL.

DELETE- remove or crush out written or printed matter
