TURBIDITY..

Turbidity is a reduction in water clarity because of the presence of suspended matter absorbing or scattering downwelling light, and water is considered turbid when the presence of suspended particles becomes conspicuous. Inorganic suspended materials, suspensoids or tripton, reduce light penetration, form adsorption and desorption surfaces, and are able to aggregate with dissolved substances, bacteria, and algae. The adsorbed substances are available for bacteria, algae, and zooplankton.

PLASMOLYSIS.

The shrinking of protoplasm away from the cell wall of a plant or bacterium due to water loss from osmosis, thereby resulting in gaps between the cell wall and cell membrane. Supplement. Plasmolysis is the shrinking of the protoplasm as a result of water loss from osmosis.

Answer:

plasmolysis is the process of water moving out to the cell when placed in a hypertonic solution. protoplasm detaches from the cell wall during plasmolysis.

Turgidity is the process where the cell content pressurises the cell wall due to water absorption into the cell by osmosis
