Answer:

let the first angle be x and the second angle be x+10

x+(x+10)=90

2x+10=90

2x=90-10

2x=80

x=80/2

x=40 (FIRST ANGLE)

x+10=50 (SECOND ANGLE)

GIVEN: The difference between complementary angles is 10°.

TO FIND: Value of both the angle

SOLUTION:

A complementary angle is an angle in which the sum of both angles will be 90°.

Let one angle be x.

Then another angle is x+10.

So, x + (x+10) =  90°

2x + 10 = 90

2x = 90 - 10

2x = 80

x = 40

One angle is 40° and another will be x+10 which is 50°.

The value of one angle will be 40° and another will be 50°.
